Claudia Cook began her career as primary Special Education Teacher in the US. Her passions brought her to Australia over the last 6 years where she has worked with hundreds of schools implementing education technology and sustainable professional learning. Her teaching degrees cover special education focused on cognitive impairments and learning disabilities, primary education, as well as early childhood development. She understands what it’s like to be in the classroom focused on progress and the individual learner.
At Corwin, Claudia is a trusted advisor to schools across Australia supporting them with identifying what works best and the impact that professional learning has on student learning. She acts as a critical friend while working closely with schools to understand their aspirations, their unique context, and can co-design an evidence-based pathway for professional learning that will have the greatest impact.
Bishri comes to Corwin from a background of technology and business development with 10+ years of experience in a variety of industries and regions.
However, joining Corwin in 2015 as a founding member in Australia has allowed Bishri to follow his passion for education. Bishri’s charter is to scale the impact of Corwin’s offerings across Asia-Pacific and over the past six years, he has worked with systems and schools across the region to influence quality teaching practice. He is driven by the commitment to make a real difference in the classrooms, enabling long-term positive outcomes for all learners.
Bishri holds a bachelor’s degree in computing & software engineering, a master’s degree in business administration and continues to stay committed to his own journey of learning and progress.
In her role as Education Improvement Advisor, Jennifer has extensive experience in account and relationship management, business development, education technology and training.
Before joining Corwin, Jennifer spent 14 years working in both the K-12 and Higher Education landscapes, primarily in publishing and ed tech roles across Australia and New Zealand. She has worked with educators to enable and enhance the use of technology in classrooms, and she has a thorough understanding of pedagogy and instructional design. Jennifer has also completed post graduate studies in eLearning and has a background in career coaching and training.
Jennifer relishes her role with Corwin where she can apply her skills in building partnerships and follow her passion for helping schools with change processes, focusing on what works best to accelerate learning.
